Dream Yoga and Astral Travel
The science of awakening consciousness within the dream state has been cited throughout all the world’s great religions and spiritual traditions. As a discipline, it constitutes a fundamental step in acquiring personal knowledge of the divine. In the internal dimensions or world of dreams, the soul, divested of its corporeal form, can directly investigate the mysteries of life and death in order to achieve genuine religion and yoga (from the Latin religare, “to re-bind,” and the Sanskrit yug, “to unite with divinity”). The disciple of dream yoga also learns to communicate with all the enlightened masters, angels, buddhas, prophets, and beings of the celestial realms through experiencing and interpreting the highly mystical and symbolic language of dreams.
All religions indicate that the consciousness, our soul, is inert, conditioned, and asleep. Humanity is hypnotized and dreaming, not only during physical sleep, but even when active with the body of flesh and bones. Dreams are not only experienced in the sleeping state, but in our daily lives through preoccupations, fantasies, memories, daydreams, fascinations, anxieties, distractions, and unconscious habits. While we think we are conscious beings, the reality, as the scriptures indicate, is the contrary.
This course explains the parameters of a particular psychological work, wherein the illusory dreams of the subconsciousness are transformed into the light of awakened consciousness. By expanding one's consciousness in the physical world, the student naturally awakens within the internal worlds when the physical body sleeps. In this way, the soul can converse with divinity during the nocturnal hours and experience prophetic visions: direct, sacred knowledge of the universe in all of its multidimensional beauty and grandeur.
Some essential questions we will answer include: "What are dreams and what is their significance? What is the astral plane like and how do I navigate it? How can I awaken in the dream state and speak face-to-face with divinity? How do I interpret the messages I receive in dreams?"
Within this course you will learn the requisites for awakening consciousness in dreams, the means of interpreting mystical or inner experiences through the intuitive language of Kabbalah and numerology, the practical methods for achieving conscious astral projection, the nature of the astral dimension, the Tree of Life, and more.
