Tantra and Sacred SexualityIn the view of Tantra, the body's vital energies are the vehicles of the mind. When the vital energies are pure and subtle, one's state of mind will be accordingly affected. By transforming these bodily energies we transform the state of consciousness. ―The 14th Dalai Lama All of nature is facilitated through diverse modifications and modalities of energy. Just as physical nature functions through the use of energy, likewise our mental and spiritual life are determined by how we use the forces of thought, feeling, will, and the creative sexual force. Learn about the fundamental makeup of our internal constitution, the different paths associated with tantrism, the importance of conserving and utilizing our creative sexual energy, and the means by which such energy can be harnessed to develop our fullest spiritual potential. Through utilizing all of our physical, sexual, emotional, mental, volitional, conscious, and spiritual capacities, we can in turn become fully enlightened beings, buddhas, masters, angels, as explained throughout the Buddhist tantras and the Western esoteric tradition. By controlling creative energy through tantrism, Sahaja Maithuna ("sacred copulation") or sexual magic, we liberate and awaken consciousness.
